General Liability
Most companies will need General Liability (GL) insurance some will refer to this as business insurance. This type of policy helps protect you from claims that happen as a result of normal business operations. GL includes claims for third-party bodily injuries, resulting medical payments, and advertising injuries.
Commercial Auto
Do you use vehicles in your business? Does your business own or lease vehicles? If yes, then you probably need this type of policy. This includes the car to run errands, carry tools or transport clients as well as industrial types of vehicles.
Professional Liability
Do you offer a professional service or advice? Liability protection also known as Errors and Omissions (E&O) can help protect against claims of negligence like giving incorrect advice or failing to deliver a service.
Business Owners Policy
Also known as a BOP policy. This policy is good for small to medium-sized companies. The policy combines commercial property insurance and commercial liability insurance together in one policy.
Workers' Compensation
The Hawaii Worker's Compensation law was enacted in 1915, and its purpose was to provide wage loss compensation and medical care to those employees who suffer a work-related injury. Any employer, other than those excluded (section 386-1), having one or more employees, full-time or part-time, permanent or temporary, is required to provide Worker's Compensation coverage for its employees.
